Main Purpose of Role:
- Serving customers on the Branch Trade Counter
- Answering customer telephone enquiries.
- Helping to maintain the flow of goods in and out of the Branch’s Warehouse
- Working to achieve high standards of business excellence.
- To actively promote the YESSS brand.
Responsibilities:
- Courteously and efficiently serve Branch customers over the Trade Counter and deal with customer enquiries via the telephone.
- Accurately picking orders from the Warehouse.
- Booking in and preparing both supplier and customer deliveries – ensuring that the required paperwork is in order.
- Handling supplier/customer deliveries, and putting goods away.
- Helping to maintain the efficiency of the Branch’s Warehouse.
- Working as part of a tightly-knit team to ensure that the branch is tidy and runs efficiently and effectively.
- Actively and positively promote and market the products and services of the Company.
- Determine the best solution based on the customer's requirements.
- Keep up to date with the Company’s current promotions to help maximise the Branch’s sales profits.
- Adhere to Company policies & procedures and ISO accreditation requirements, suggesting possible improvements.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- Take all reasonable care to exercise a safe environment in which to work, not only you but also all fellow employees under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
